Mayela Vazquez

Born in Monterrey, Mexico, Mayela graduated with a degree in fashion design and went on to continue her education in New York and London. In 2012, Mayela moved to New York City, where she is now based. Her skills, love, and passion for her career have taken her to work with fashion designers Rebecca Minkoff, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, Ran Fan, and Ricard Seco as the Key Make-Up & Hair artist in New York and Paris Fashion Weeks. She has also worked with celebrities and fashion influencers Nicky Hilton, Chloe Sevigny, James Franco, Aaron Diaz, Lola Ponce, The Koch Brothers, Magos Herrera, Natalie Suarez (Off Duty), Andrea Perez (Dear Milano), Christina Caradona (Trop Rouge), to mention a few.

Mayela often speaks at beauty events and has been invited to be the spokesperson for the launch of international cosmetic and beauty brands. She continuously travels to Mexico to teach professional beauty workshops, and collaborates closely with the international press where she often is invited to share her personal experiences as a beauty maven. 

Her work has appeared in Vogue, Nylon, Institute, P Magazine, Better Homes & Gardens, Cream, The Wild, among other fashion and design magazines.
